Pedro Pascal gives Canada yet another big shoutout in new interview

Pedro Pascal has never been shy about his love of Canada. Since spending a lot of time in the country filming The Last Of Us, Pascal pretty much never misses an opportunity to gush about the Great White North.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Pascal's latest co-star in The Materialists, Dakota Johnson, asked him which reality TV show he'd most like to star in.

At first, Pascal said he'd want to star in Airline, a series from the early 2000s about "people losing it at the airport," but he added that he doesn't actually want to have to spend time at the airport.

Johnson then asked if Pascal would want to take part in the Great British Bake Off, and he gave perhaps the best answer any Canadian could imagine.

"I would like the Canadian Bake Off. Sorry, England," Pascal said.

As expected, Canadians were thrilled to hear what Pascal had to say in the comments.

"I actually just gasped when he said Canadian bake off. Like he mentioned me or something," one person said.

"As a Canadian… I approve of this message," another added,

The Great Canadian Baking Show also jumped in on the TikTok comments, simply saying, "Hey, Pedro."

Could we see Pascal showcasing his baking skills anytime soon? Let's all manifest.
