If your summer plans are feeling a bit dull and you're up for a road trip, the Niagara 5000 offers an exciting chance to see some of North America's rarest supercars and private jets in one place, and tickets are officially on sale now.
Held annually each August, the three-day celebration of luxury, performance, and innovation features a jaw-dropping lineup of elite vehicles, private aviation displays, exhilarating test drives, and wine tours.
From Aug. 7 to Aug. 9, the Niagara Region is set to welcome tens of thousands of spectators and collectors from all over the world. The celebration kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 7, at STK Steakhouse Fallsview, and the Falls will be lit in Rolls-Royce purple for the first time ever to mark the occasion.
The opening event costs $125 per person, but if you're on a budget, the Hagerty Supercar Parade on Aug. 8 might be more your speed.
Between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., hundreds of supercars, including the ultra-rare Aston Martin Valiant (valued at $4 million), Bugatti, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lucid, Lamborghini, Pagani, Mercedes, Porsche, and vintage supercars, will make their way along the Niagara Parkway. This parade is open to the public and completely free.
Also on Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., supercar displays, a Cirrus model jet, and top-tier vendors will be showcased alongside the backdrop of Niagara Falls at Queen Victoria Park. Throughout the event, you can explore luxury brand activations and high-end tech showcases for free.
If you're looking for a more premium event, there's also the Supercar Cruise on Aug. 8 between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. At this event, supercar and vintage car owners are invited to register their vehicles for a personalized cruise through the Niagara Region.
Each brand will be matched with a partner winery or destination, where up to 50 people will enjoy a curated lunch. The cruise includes multiple stops, from winemaker meet-and-greets to a Go-Kart Racing experience at K1 Speed. Tickets for the cruise are available at $150 per car for two guests, and $100 for each additional guest.
If you're really looking to splurge, there's also the Hangar Experience on Aug. 9 for $350 a ticket, where a private airport hangar will be transformed into a luxury lounge.
This year's three-day event will support MacKids, the arm of Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation dedicated to fundraising for McMaster Children's Hospital, and Cassie + Friends, a national charity supporting kids with juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases.
Although many of the events are free to attend, VIP and ticketed experiences are available for purchase now online.
