Toronto Turns Up the Heat: Island Eats Food & Travel Festival Returns This June

Toronto’s summer heats up with the return of Island Eats Food & Travel Festival taking place at Mel Lastman Square on Saturday, June 14th, from 1 PM to 10 PM, and Sunday, June 15th, from 1 PM to 8 PM. This free two-day outdoor event offers guests a vibrant celebration of the islands - with no passport required!

Island Eats brings the spirit of the Caribbean to the heart of the city, uniting food lovers, music fans, and culture enthusiasts. Visitors can expect bold flavours, pulsing rhythms, and vibrant cultural displays. From jerk chicken and doubles to pepper pot and tropical mocktails, the festival is a feast for the senses.


“Island Eats is more than just a festival. It's a love letter to our Caribbean roots,” says Petronilla Marchan, Festival Manager. “It’s a space where cultures connect, traditions thrive, and the community comes together to dance, eat, and celebrate.”
