IKEA Canada shoppers are about to get more bang for their buck.
The Swedish furniture giant announced on Tuesday that it has revamped its IKEA Family rewards program.
When the IKEA loyalty program first launched in Canada in 2012, it offered benefits like discounts, member-only workshops and events, and free regular coffee or tea in the Swedish Restaurant.
Now, in addition to those perks, members can collect points, symbolized by the iconic Allen key, whenever they shop at the store. The points can be redeemed for a variety of valuable rewards, including product discounts, delivery and assembly services, and even free food in the Swedish Restaurant.
"With over 5.8 million members in Canada, these are our most engaged and loyal customers," said De’ana Torresan, customer engagement and loyalty manager at IKEA Canada. "We want to enhance their shopping journey by recognizing and rewarding them every time they interact and shop with us."
If you want to take advantage of rewards points, you can join the IKEA Family program for free.
Members can earn or collect the following points:
Once you have enough points, you'll be able to unlock the following discounts on purchases:
If you love IKEA Canada food, you can even get free treats, depending on how many points you have:
Do you have a big move planned in the near future? Collect 400 points and you could get up to $40 off on delivery and $40 off furniture assembly.
