costco canada membership deal

Costco Canada offering massive deal on membership this month

Want a Costco Canada membership? Now is the perfect time to buy or renew one for your household.

On Sept. 1, 2024, Costco raised its annual membership fees for the first time in years. The Gold Star membership increased by $5 ($60 to $65), and the higher-tier Executive membership jumped by $10 to $130 annually.

The good news is that Costco sometimes offers membership promotions with serious advantages. The big-box store currently has a deal for new and returning members (whose membership expired 18 or more months ago), but you'll have to act fast.

The deal ends on April 13, 2025.

Until that deadline, those who sign as Executive members online using the promo code COSTCO80 will receive a $80 voucher. It can be used on a $200 purchase at Costco.ca.

For Gold Star members, the gift voucher is worth $40 (promo code: COSTCO40) and can be applied to a $100 purchase on the big box store's website.

Savings like that could mean a ton of free essentials like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, appliances, cheaper fitness equipment for your home gym, and more!

Those who sign up will also get a Household card for the primary and affiliate members at no additional cost.

Once you sign up, expect your voucher in your email inbox in two to four business days, and it'll be valid for use online until May 11, 2025. It won't work at a physical Costco location.

However, you must go to a Costco location to pick up your membership card after you receive your membership number. Simply walk up to customer service and show a staff member the email.

If you're dissatisfied with your existing Costco membership or unable to take full advantage of it, the retailer will cancel and refund your membership fee at any time.

Enjoy your savings!
