Making a Business Logo
A logo is a symbol or like a symbol signature that depicts a certain product. A logo should be created in such a way that it displays quality and reliability of the item that is being symbolized. Once Product is known to be of good quality the logo speaks for itself, no further introduction of the product needs to be done. The notion that is noted when a person sets his eyes on a logo should be a favorable one and not otherwise.
Several things must be factored in when building a logo one of them being that the logo should be made to look as attractive as possible to the passerby in the street. Avoid girlish colors such as pink and the like because using these in your logo might make the potential customers think that you are a joker, dull colors are the ones that show that seriousness that every product wants to be treated with, however if its a feminine product, then having a logo with bright shouting colors would be appropriate since it will create a sense of belonging to the product. Careful evaluation of how the logo will appear like on the various advertising media should be considered. Brevity is the most important consideration in logos, there should not be alot of things going on in it as this could make it look stuffy and would no longer serve its rightful purpose. The type of font used varies with the type of a product,if it is a toy or simple playing toys then fancy rounded font will be appropriate.
Logos especially for the small businesses should be related to the activities of the business, for example the logo should be closely associated with the mission and vision statement of the business. Images tend to create a long lasting impression especially on the eyes of those who view it. A good logo should be easy to be noticed and the message in it should be clear any efforts to make a logo complex proves to be of disservice to the potential clients. The color combinations on the logo should be appealing to the human eye.
Logos come in different categories for example car logos, brand logos and even house logos for example car logos should be unmistakable and very different from the others. The memorability factor is another consideration to be made. Appliance logos must include the name of the manufacturing company so that buyers can be able to identify it by its name even from afar. Every logo should be distinct from that of another competing company.
